Sun, 31 Jan 2010 23:30:54 MST | Just came back to help clarify the situation after a string of events shared between other Stitchfans. I know that there are proud Stitchfans on this network, and that there are situations where they can profess their support for the blue furred alien, which I agree.
But there are some people, who support Stitch with all their heart, but too afraid to shout it out to other people. Sure, it sounds awkward, but I can tell that it's easy to be ostracized (uhm, left out by others) by as something as little as support for Stitch. Hence the "in-the-closet" fandom situation. But, as Lilo quotes in the 'Snooty' episode (or whichever), "it's a defence mechanism", which means, there are situations where some people can be proud of their fandom... and get away with it.
To stitchthebest36, I am utterly shocked to hear such news and henceforth send many hugs to show that no matter what happens, we will be there for you Z(and each other.) Come the notion of 'ohana, "nobody gets left behind or forgotten" - we will always look out for each other no matter what.
And on the subject of the anime, episode 6 is titled "Angel's Flight" (though I can explain why Angel travelled by ferry... perhaps she landed on the Japanese mainland first and then took the ferry to Okinawa (or Izayoi, to be specific).
Never mind the terrible things that have happened, but at least there are some good things coming around the corner. All the best for the 'ohana! |
